A Tompkins Thanksgiving

Though Halloween is a big deal here, Thanksgiving is not.  Teri went to the big supermarket and ordered a turkey.  When I went to go pick it up, I went to the counter and I asked for a...  "Turkey" the man answered.  You must be Mr. Read.  Apparently - they don't get many special orders and even fewer for turkey.  But we had to have a bird!  We had a Great Visitation of the Tompkinses.  Will, Sarah, Greg, GS, GR, and even Danny (who is not Tompkins by name - but by association).  We had a great time.  Here Mason shows Will how to build with this magnetic set.

And having shown Will, he then instructs his brother.

Uncle Greg enjoys a bedtime story with the fellas,

But is not in demand the way Sarah is.  Poor Sarah - it must be tough to have all the men chasing after her.  Even if some of them are not yet 3 feet tall.

The day after Thanksgiving, we headed to the Christmas Festival in Nuremberg.  The train is fun - because once the seats get boring you can head for the baggage compartment for a little game of memory.

And all too soon, it was over and we had to send the Tompkinses back to work, school, whatnot.  It was lots of fun and we're looking forward to whenever/wherever we see you next!
