Swimming just off the beach beyond our special bench, Mason noticed a huge range of sea life.

So the boys constructed a tidal sanctuary, which soon was inhabited by sea urchins, and small fish.

A reasonably medium sized crab.

And a sea centipede even came to check it out.

The fish-eye view confirmed that its better than an aquarium.
