Before becoming a parent - I had not spent a day at a park in the prior 30+ years.  National Parks are nice - but local playgrounds just did not have that much appeal.  Just goes to show how much I knew.  There is so much to do!  Like look at yourself in a funny mirror.

Try to wedge yourself between two large pieces of climbing equipment.

Hang like a monkey before letting go and dropping right onto the slide - Whoeee!

And then we get into the sand toys.  Yikes.  Who knew?  For our boys - the truck is the toy of choice.  It has to be able to carry a load - the larger the better!

The twisty slide is always a favorite!

...even if you lose  your hat on the way down.

And its not all raucous physical activity.  There is plenty of opportunity to appreciate the finer points of each and every little wood chip.
