Anxious for a bit more fresh mountain air, we looked around for a refuge still open in October, and found one in Barme.  With seven children under the age of 9 in tow, we headed up the hill for the hut.

It was a nice walk - and when we got there we found the first snow of the season.  What to do?  Well - first we threw snowballs, then we went sledding, but ultimately, you can see what we ended up doing.
