Belgium Chocolate

On TripAdvisor, TT found a chocolatier willing to give tours and a lesson in making chocolate.  His name is Mr. Manon.  Here he shows Erin how to keep a steady hand with the cream filling - - though she seemed pretty willing to clean up any spills.

Then it was to the cooling table.  Have you ever seen such attentive children?!

Now I know what you are thinking looking at Mason's mouth.  This was not a chocolate making class.  This was a chocolate tasting class.  But let me assure you, dear reader, that this outing was all business.  The chocolaty looking substance near Masons lips is nothing more than a smudge on the negative of the picture.

Now with the chocolate cool, it was time to prepare the mold.

Again dear reader, as much as it look like Mason is licking his finger, its nothing more than his gasp at Mr. Manons excellent swirling technique.

Believe it or not - while the chocolate is cooling, the talented Manon magically produces a deck of cards and offers up some card tricks.

Again, this kind of effort can really take it out of a person.  Back for more moules and frites to fuel up.

After a fun long weekend like that, its hard to say 'see you later' to Neal.  But dont worry big fella.  We'll see you again soon enough.
