The journey continued back to Lausanne so the B-Team could enjoy where we live.  First stop, of course, the sand park.  There, Arnold demonstrates how his protein shakes have been working.  He's so trim - he cant even do the seesaw with the kids!

And then it was down to the Botanical Gardens where there is a fantastic fountain for the kids to play in.  Below is one of my favorite shots from the summer - a combination of artsy shooting, and boys being boys.

And boys they were.  Pruny?  Nah.  Tired of wading in those boots (because you forgot your sandals)?  Nah.  Its gonna take a bathroom plunger to get this boy out of the fountain.

This one too.  And youd think hed be tired of water from being in Seattle?  Nah again.

Ultimately the parents did prevail, and there is a moment to take in some 'cultuah'.  This from the top of the big cathedral in Lausanne.

But that 'cultuah' doesnt last long.  As soon it was back to Bougy for....Legos, of course.  Lyell and Nathan built some of the most extraordinary structures that the Read house has yet seen, the highlight being the crane (red and white) between them.
