Before we had even been able to unpack the car - it was time for school!  And here are the dynamic duo on their first day.  Notice how Mason, who has not been to this school before has a big smile - while Lyell - the veteran - looks a little underwhelmed.

The reason?  Homework.  That's right, big fella - time to turn off that Sponge Bob web site and get down to the books.  And while you're at it - keep that tongue where it belongs!

The next big activity here in Bougy in the fall is the birthday for the daddy.  That's right.  Though not advertized widely, it does happen.  And when it does - my family makes me a heck of a carrot cake!

After that - things start to shift into cold.  And what better way to stay warm than in a UCLA sweatshirt - with stuffed animals jammed into the pockets.  Its always what we did when we were young.  Kinda.
