Bougy Spring

Spring here in Bougy is delightful.  To prepare for plants popping to life, Lyell created his own papier-mache fruit, proudly displayed here with Two-Dog.  Not a couple of weeks later, he brought the real thing home from school where they have been starting beans and lentils from the seed.

And even though its beautiful outside, sometimes its just time to sit down with the Legos and see what happens.  As you can see from the lefthand side of this photo, compulsion happens.

And suddenly - its Mother's Day!  Mason runs downstairs to give mom a big hug - and Lyell's ready for her with the "Happy Mother's Day Boy With Greeting In Packing Box".  Its a time-honored tradition here.

And just in case you thought we never get outside - we spent a nice day in Geneva. We took the little train through the old town.

And got off at the big park where people were playing lots of large-scale chess.  Lyell was quit fascinated.  I think Im going to need to learn to play chess.

Back at home it was time to build a block tower.  "Up to the ceiling, Daddy!".  Yikes - Im glad we're here because there is no way OSHA would approve.
