To mark the start of summer, we went "camping" with three other families at Bayview State Park.  I only call it roughly camping, because we stayed in little cabins - it was quite luxurious.  The Read family tried out the new canoe.

We think Mason liked it.  Lyell wouldn't go in it.

The Purdy-Young girls were happier on land - cruising the park.  Watch out!

One of the days at Bayview when the tide was out and there was no Bay to paddle in, we went to Deception Pass.  Lyell liked the rocks.  Sophia liked the view.

After his experience in the canoe - Mason later talked his mother into taking him for a kayak.  I think he's going to be a water rat.
