But one of the big questions aboard the boat is where to hang the stockings with care when there is no chimney?  Well - we settled on the mast in hopes that Santa soon would be there.

And sure enough - he was!

He sure brought us a bunch of stuff.  Of course we had a tree to go with it all, and everyone got a bunch of fun things.  Here is the early contingent starting the presents:

We think that Mason thoroughly enjoyed his first Christmas aboard ship.  He certainly enjoyed his first Christmas present - a stuffed tropical fish that Lyell named "Bock Bock Broccoli".  Where do these names come from?
