Container

So, one night after a dinner of a lot of spicy food, I woke with with a vision.  I would go to the US, buy three small sailboats (Lasers), put them into a container, ship them to Switzerland, and run sailing camp during the summer for the boys on the lake.  Imagine my surprise when I ended up in a storage facility, building a boat rack out of galvanized pipe.  How did this happen?

No matter.  The rack got built, the boats got bought, the whole works got bolted to a trailer, and Jules and Bill came to help!

Thats where things really start to get a little hazy.  Or crazy.  You be the judge.  Either way, and emboldened by the success of getting the Lasers all packed up - I then proceeded to buy a pool table.  It brings out the men in men.

But with hundreds of pounds of slate and lots of delicate wood, it also needs lots of attention to get it all packed up.  Lucky that JBR and Jules and Bill were there to help.  I think they actually kind of got into using the stretch wrap.

And before we knew it - the whole works was wrapped up and strapped up and ready to go.

Bon voyage!

And quite remarkably - 6 short weeks later - here is the container right outside our driveway.  The miracles of modern logistics never cease to amaze.
