Deception Pass

For our first camping trip of the season, we headed up to Deception Pass State Park.  It is really a fantastic spot and quite convenient to Seattle.  We were honored to be joined by Ana and Margo - out on their first camping trip ever!  Here Mason helps them appreciate one of the highlights of being out in the wilderness - the top of the camper!

But we did get outside.  And there were tremendous beaches with good wood from which we built some great forts.

But were the kids ever satisfied?  Noooo.  Here the dads scavenge the beach for additional fort building materials to keep our charges happy...

Once finished - it can be quite a cozy little spot on the beach.

Now I am going to be the first to say that incorrigible.com is not in any danger of winning any design awards - but here the webmaster tries for a somewhat "arty" series of Mason enjoying the beach, the truck, the company - and well - camping.

And of course - I save the best for last.  At breakfast on Sunday morning, we were greeted with a slug that had taken up residence on one of our plates.   Here Teri gives a formal seminar on slug appreciation.  Who knew what expertise she had?  (note slug on red plate between Mason and Lyell's heads)

Dad - can we go back soon?!  You betcha big fella.
