Of course after all that excitement, most normal people would have gone home (to Switzerland).  But with no risk of normalcy, we stopped in Edinburgh, Scotland and met the Blinns.  The first point of excitement - the unusual phone booths - of course.  First Jackie tries it out, and then once Lyell sees its safe - he checks it out as well.

From there it was off to "Our Dynamic Earth" - which should obviously have been named "Our Dangerous Earth".

And Jackie joined them because she thought it was cool too (yes that is a big chunk of ice they are standing under).

Even on the streets - there was a height of excitement - particularly for those bold enough to shake some hands.

I got a special kick out of Lyell and Mason climbing this statue of Adam Smith, given the way I spend my days normally.  Hail to the father of modern economics!
