And there we were - driving merrily along on the wrong side - when Teri (the scotch tippler in the group) calls a big WHOA! Apparently - there had been a sign for a town that is a brand of scotch she likes. There we found ponies (always a favorite).
And we found a real 1930s Scottish one room school house with a real school master. Who had us sit down and practice with our inkwells.
It was hard work. Teri thought there would be a 'wee dram' of the Glenlivet at the end of it, so she worked extra hard.
So did Nathan and Lyell. Arnold was not exactly the top of the class. You can see the school master at the head of the class in the blue sweater. In the old days hed have hit Arnold with a ruler for messing around in class.
But not yours truly. No way. Working hard here. You bet. Who took that photo? Who me?
