Happy to be back in Switzerland, we celebrated with a weekend hike up to a mountain refuge with Cecilia, Laura and Denis. 

The kids did an amazing job, covering what we calculated as easily 20km with plenty of altitude gain, and with very little complaint.

In fact - even with a smile!

In fact, the trail was not enough, Laura and Lyell had to attack the rock outcroppings.

And celebrate at the top.

This photo I havent yet decided what to title.  Im thinking of "Heidi and Heidi".  Or "Sound of Music".  Maybe Ill get organized and set up a little voting area here so you, my loyal readers, can weigh in.

Anyway - here we are at the high point of the climb.  But youd never know it because we are so high that we are in a cloud and we cant see a thing!  Im sure the view *would* have been spectacular.

And here we all are at the end, not looking any the worse for wear...

It was a terrific weekend!
