Jules and Bill

But life never slows, and it was then off to see Jules and Bill tie the knot.  And tie the knot they did.  It was a very nice event.

Though apparently something happened to the cake prior to the ceremony.  Lucky we had the spy-cam in place.  Now....if we could only identify those tasting fingers....

During the celebration, Lyell and I took Jules and Bill's bicycle built for two out for a ride.  It was good fun, and he generates some good power.  On the return, we were greeted by the rest of the Swiss Reads and even Grampa Read for an extraordinary family photo.

And as we were in Boston, we had to stop for a visit to Durgin Park for some chowder, and then we took the ferry across the bay to see the USS Constitution.

She still looks great.  This shot was a special for TT, who had the same pose done some 45 years ago when she visited the east coast with her parents.  Apparently then she was in a little white dress, gloves and a purse - where is all that now?!

On the way home, the boys managed to find a fountain that turns on and off intermittently.  So of course the game is to run through and "try" not to get wet.  Ha.  Not exactly.  But fun it was, and once we got the boys wrung out, they were quite exhausted.

It was good fun to see Jules and Bill and Grampa Read too!
