As the calendar advances to the 4th of July, our trip took us to, of course, Keizer Oregon!  The home of the best 4th of July party we know of.  And this year was no different from any other.  To make sure that the kids had good energy for the party, lollypops were the first order of the day.  And have you ever seen such a concentration of red, white and blue?  What a patriotic bunch.

In prep for the parade, Lyell and Neal practice their flag waving while Erin watches on.

And of course George got out the compressed air rocket.  A hit with kids of all ages.

After that, we opened up several packages of "mortars".  WOW!  We had to eliminate those photos, though, as mortars are against the law in Oregon and we didn't want incorrigible.com to be subpoenaed for states evidence...
