However where we were on our way to is Kom Ombo.  Everyone goes to see Giza and the pyramids.  If you have to choose, Id completely skip that and go to Kom Ombo.

Now before we get into this series - just remember that youve been warned.  That we went overboard on the shots of historic significance.  So if you havent hit next already, heres a shot up at the ceiling of Kom Ombo temple.  Amazing colors that are thousands of years old.

Each of the columns and pillars are a little different.

And when you combine the columns with painted ceiling - wow - this is as good as history gets for me.

Aspiration.  Thats what I just kept seeing in all of these structures.

So if after hours of walking through this in the heat we're still smiling, it must have been pretty interesting.
