When we first arrived in Lausanne - we had to get some paperwork done before we could close on our house.  So we stayed in a delightful, intimate, romantic, small, elegant little hotel in Lausanne.  Sound ideal for two young boys with lots of energy?  Well - not really, so we got them outside lots.  Here they are atop the cathedral.

Though this is the site of most activity.  There was a fantastic little park just minutes from the hotel that has never seen quite so much activity as when we were there.

But the time went by quickly and we like to think that Frederic (who made omelettes for the boys every morning) and the rest of the staff at the Carlton miss us as we miss them.
