Now I know what you are thinking, dear reader. With all this culture and high style - are they still any fun? Have they grown stuffy, boring, and lost all the excitement of real life? Hmm. Theres definitely time for sailing lessons.
And watching other people take sailing lessons.
Theres time to trick-or-treat with Laura (the ghoul in the middle) and your cousin Karin. Wait a minute - no parents?! Thats right. We are dealing with big people now.
Theres time for a quiet moment at the kitchen table.
And even to draw a picture of a leatherback turtle, and mail it off to New Zealand.
Theres time to climb at our local outdoor spot in St. George.
And even time for a little judo. Incidentally, you dont want to see the photo after this one. Suffice it to say that its not a good idea to sneak up on a judo master.
There even time to sort the socks that come out of the laundry. Why that necessitates a sleeping bag and a pair of headphones, I still dont understand, but hey.
Theres always time for bubble bath.
And for a for a little peace and love.
Theres time for a piano recital. Wait. Is that Mason in a white, clean shirt with a collar? For the second time in a year? Good heavens. At least its not tucked in.
And theres always time to roll around with your brother in your snowfort.
Hmm. Im trying to look at all that objectively and am thinking that maybe weve gotten a little *too* far away from stuffy and boring.... Nah. |
