Mesa Verde 1

 


In an effort to understand how our predecessors camped in the southwest, we visited Mesa Verde National Park:

Unfortunately for them, the early visitors to Mesa Verde did not have a VW Camper Bus, so they had to build adobe and stone dwellings in the cliffs:

While picturesque, these looked a little drafty and dusty to us - even compared to the bus:

And substantially less spacious:

But there are some features that the adobe dwellings have that the bus does not...
