Gradually working our way toward Athens..

...The next spot of interest was Megalopolis. OK - not really. We just had to include the photo as this is, I think, the most aspirational place we have ever visited. To call a small outpost with a bar and a bus stop "Megalopolis" just caught our sense of humor.

Then on to Mycenae...which caught more of our sense of curiousity. The highlight is large beehive shaped tombs, empty, quite large, and very encouraging of photos...

Both inside and out.

But once youve seen one Mycenaen tomb, youve kind of seen them all...

So we headed for the museum.  Suzie, naturally, joined us.

After that, we were ready to fast forward a few thousand years and head for Athens!
