We had not yet met Will, so we set up an outing with the Krauses halfway between Seattle and Salem.  Turns out, that is Centralia/Chehalis.  It was great to see them.

Lyell took on the full responsibility of showing will the dos and donts of playground etiquette.

And we went to see a real steam train.  The men needed a pose by the engine (a 2-8-2), of course.

Even though Lyell thought it was a little loud, he could not keep his eyes off it.

An exciting day was had by all and Lyell slept the whole way home!
