In the land of glaciers and fjords, you don't see a lot of big sandy beaches. The kind that 4 & 6 year olds dream of. Unless you look hard. Which we did. And we found Olga's beach. Dreamy? You bet.
If these aren't two happy boys, I don't know what is.
Well, OK - add the trucks. Yes, these huge trucks traveled all the way through Scandinavia with us, up in the canoe atop the car.
Not only was Olga's beach good for sand, but also good for treasures.
Oh, and you're probably curious why its called Olga's beach. Well, meet Olga. She is the one in the light/darker blue stripes. When we got there, she invited us to come see her "house". It was a complete life scale diorama of a house in the sand, completely built of "treasures" from the beach. Wood, shells, even an oil drum. Wow. She is a good hostess.
We could have stayed forever, but there was more to be seen. So onto another ferry, and off we go!
