Now that we are into our fourth year here in Seattle, we have learned that it is hip to refer to the area as the "PNW", or Pacific NorthWest.   Life here is glamorous.  Unless you are the guy on the bottom of the stack.  Ugh.

Life here is fun.  Especially when John makes a special guest appearance and the parents skip town for the evening.  Whoee!

Life is busy.  Here Lyell performs his usual duties of Christmas light tester and installer.  A scant 10 strings of lights this year.  We were only able to set our little corner of the neighborhood aglow.  Merry Merry!

And life is exhausting.  But fortunately the mama is willing to get cozy with both boys and a good book.  This is about as good as it gets here in the old PNW.
