For Labor Day weekend, we went to Lake Quinault to meet up with Becky, Don, Darcy, Lindsay and Maya.  For Mason, the highlight was getting free run of the hotel - incongnito, of course!

Lyell and Lindsay had a tremendous amount of very serious work to attend to, but managed a break here and there with their "doggies".

Naturally, there was a croquet game.  Here Stuart explains the rules to Mason.  I think that there are still a few of the finer points that we need to work on, though.  Perhaps next year.

One of the big highlights was the slug hunt.  Though somebody in the lodge told us that he has been hiking and not seen a single one - we had the crack locating team on the job (shown below) and were able to spot 26 banana slugs!

Exhausted from all the adventures, we had to stop for ice cream on the way home.
