Teri had to go back to work.  And the three boys were in Sea Ranch.  What does that mean?  Break out the Cheetohs - its a road trip!  First stop, Black Butte State Park in central California.  Its a lovely spot that we found nearly empty.  Probably just as well given we might have scared off the feint of heart.  I call this shot "Poptarts and PJs".  Its what happens when the boys hit the road alone.

Next stop, Shasta Caverns.  Dad - this looks like its just a dark hole in the ground.  What's the big....

Whoa.  This place is pretty cool.

As with any good trip - we rolled back into Seattle pretty well tired out.  Whew.
