Family Sunday outings continue - and Lyell chose spelunking. Turns out that there is a cave in the mountains of Rocher de Naye thats open to the public if you can climb your way up to it.  So climb we did.  Put on our headlamps we did.

And spelunk we did.  Is that a word - Lyell asks?

And then after about an hour in the cave, out we come. Terrific!

Except that the sun was setting and we still needed to hike back down. Not a crisis - well equipped for the inside of a cave means well equipped for a sunset hike.

Er...maybe more of a night hike.

But its also the only way to get to see this.  Nope - not a postcard! The real McCoy.
