THE MOVE TO SEATTLE

After spending 5 years getting entrenched in Portola Valley, the move to Seattle was tumultuous.  Fortunately, Grampa Read came out to help us pack the truck.  Once that was done, the hard work began.  The three generations of Read men headed north to Seattle in the VW.  We camped at Lake Shasta, enjoyed some vintage cars in Ashland, saw some fantastic trucks along the way and even got to drive them!  From there we headed to Crater Lake and then made the rest of the trip up to our new home in Seattle.
