After all the excitement from the New Year's Eve party, we got up and headed for the snow!  It was a chilly day, but we were well dressed for it.

Here, the family gets ready for the first of perhaps three runs down the hill.  From the expressions on Lyell and Mason's faces, you can probably tell that the cold has dampened their sledding spirit a little bit.

So we headed inside the heated bus to warm up and have some fun time with Joshua!  He and Lyell very much enjoyed being up top while the rest of the group warmed up down below.

Hard to believe that just a couple of runs down the hill could wipe out a pair of energetic little fellows, but the ride home was very quiet - er - aside from the snoring.

And even home - the boys spent the rest of the afternoon getting their energy back.  What could be better therapy than resting on the sofa with your warm blankie and your brother?!  Nice.
