What I did with my summer vacation - by Teri, Stuart and Lyell Read.  Shortly after Lyell was born, we packed up the VW Camper and hit the open road.  Below is our route.  You can click on a specific area of the country or see the entire listing of pictures from the trip.

It was quite a trip and quite a summer.  This site would not be complete without just a few quick statistics from the trip:

• We covered a total distance of 14,680 miles
• The trip took us 76 days
• We went to 13 National Parks
• We did not see any Space Aliens
• We toured 4 international consumer Meccas
• We changed more dirty diapers than we care to count
• We met up with many Friends and Relatives
• And...we did not go to any McDonald's AT ALL !
