Its easy to be curious how we pass our glamorous days here in the heart of Europe.  Soaking up the culture, the history and the tradition?  Heck no.  Fooling around, just like we would do anywhere else in the world.

Which isn't to say that there is no culture.  We are Reads after all.  And so of course there is a good deal of Reading that goes on.

No matter where you are.

There is also a good amount of cooking that goes on.  One Saturday morning, the boys got up early (can they get up early on week days when they have to be at school? - Noooo!) and prepared, completely on their own, pancakes, hot chocolate and blueberry syrup.  Wow!

We were invited out to some friends for dinner - and Lyell - always the chef - spent the afternoon making a carrot cake for us to bring.  Here you see the before and the after.  Watch out Uncle Greg!
