Here is the big van I mentioned - still without any damage from our driving on the wrong side. But that could be because this is only our first stop on the tour - Kilvarock Castle. Nice.
Highlights from the road included, of course, the omnipresent wooly Scottish cattle.
The even more omnipresent (can I say that?) "bagpiper in front of castle" scene.
And of course the scotch. Here at the Talisker distillery - Mason give the display a thumbs up. A wee nip for ya, laddie?!
Clearly, Arnold and Teri had a bit more than a wee nip.
With so many castles - there was one for everyone. I didnt actually see mine (the grounds were quite large) but Im sure with such a nice sign, it was quite an affair.
Activities too - there was something for everyone!
However - and even with such a big van - there was not room for a large stuffed dog for everyone. Sorry fellas - enjoy them here in the store.
We finished off our tour in the city of Sterling at the Willy Wallace Hostel. We had been in everything from a castle to a hotel - so this completed our inventory. It was quite an event for the kids as we had an entire bunkroom (with 12 bunks) all to ourselves.
