Well - we really enjoyed our first Swiss winter. And after all that snow, it was time for a little sand. Now Im not talking about the kind you put in the driveway so you dont slip on the ice - Im talking about the kind you dig your bare feet into. So we headed for the south of France. Our first morning, the boys were out the door like it was nobody's business, headed for whatever beach was nearest.
As we were staying on a point in Cannes, a beach was near in pretty much every direction. The first one we tried was such a hit that it got termed the "Yesterday Beach", as in "I want to go back to the beach we went to yesterday!". But what about trying something new?
There was not really much reason to try something new. The boys were obviously happy, and TT has a nice place to sit and work on her crosswords.
Though Mason appears to be diligently keeping his pants dry here, moments after this photo was taken, he was basically rolling around in the water.
Despite the popularity of "Yesterday Beach" we did manage to convince the boys to try out something different the next day. |
